The lovely city of Sibiu provides students with many accommodation opportunities. Some closer to our University than others, some with a more relaxing atmosphere than others. It’s really tough to choose the best student housing for you.
At this point in your life, you must experience new things, you must get to know people, form different kinds of friendships and relationships. It is also time to become increasingly more independent.
With that being said, student housing allows you to experience all of the above. We have provided a list with the benefits of every dormitory at your disposal, so that you can choose the one that suits you best!
If you’re looking to socialize…
The two buildings are both located in the Students Park – a green place for students to get some fresh air, relax and socialize. You can grab your friends and grab some fast food 2 minutes away from the place. Alternatively, you can get your shopping bags and buy groceries from the supermarket down the street and cook your own meal in one of the campus’ kitchens.
If you’re already full, why don’t you take a walk in the Sub Arini Park? It’s only 5 minutes away! You might even run into a foreigner or two…
If you’re a foreigner…
If you’re an Erasmus student or a foreigner looking to study in Sibiu, this will most likely be the most attractive offer for you. This is by far the best opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures, to grow as a person by dealing with such a variety of personalities and points of view.
Moreover, nothing beats parties that prove the beauty of different cultures.
If you’re looking to relax…
Do you want to be far from the noise of the city, but at the same time close to its heart? Both of these options meet that need! Dormitory Nr.6 has recently been rehabilitated and it is marvelous! Air conditioning, private bathrooms, sensor-based LED lights. What more could you ask for? Beauty, comfort and sustainability!
The amazing living standards bring with themselves a higher price, but that’s when his younger brother comes into play – Campus Nr.7. Despite being the most affordable, it offers a very clean place to live, administered by friendly personnel.
If you’re a shopaholic…
Let’s be honest, some people love shopping more than anything. If you relate to that statement, this option is the best for you!
Grocery shopping? Profi, Penny, Carrefour and Kaufland are close nearby.
Looking to buy a new pair of shoes, or a new hoodie? Close nearby you can find the old shopping center and also the new one – Promenada.
Moreover, if you’re looking for a quick snack, you’ve got all sorts of places to eat – from McDonald’s and KFC, to Taverna Amicii and Pizzeria La Vito Sibiu, two great places to have some Italian dishes.
