Course Description:

The course aims at examining the attributes of an effective sales force as a key component of the company's marketing policy, as well as to provide students with the skills and knowledge in all aspects of logistics in a sustainable supply chain. The instructor will familiarize students with the activities involved in managing a sales force and will involve students in specific learning exercises that simulate 'real world' activities that sales and logistics managers partake in on a regular basis.

Course Objectives:

1. Understand the level of tasks and technical possibilities of achieving them: logistics hardware transport, packaging, storage, IT logistics software (planning techniques), intra and inter — organizing of the logistics process

2. Analyze optimization plans for operations decisions such as a new product development, supply chain capacity planning, process technology planning, factory automation, and production systems planning

3. Use various documents needed for international travel

4. Use specific models for inventory management

5. Perform value-adding operations on various business processes (i.e., manufacturing, service production and delivery, distribution, supply)
